After 5+ months remaining tight-lipped about my current place of employment, I can now tell the world I’ve left NetSmartz and taken a position as Animator at City State Entertainment. CSE is a start-up video game studio specializing in creating games for the mobile, tablet and social networking space. Its been amazing working with the caliber of talent and creativity that founder Mark Jacobs has assembled. We are currently working on our first game slated to launch in Q4 2011.
CSE/Mark Jacobs was interviewed for Forbs.com this morning – Read more
More from me in later months when I can disclose screen shots/videos from our current game. Until then follow us on CSE Facebook page for updates!

Above is my conceptual depiction of NSmartz. It incorporates almost every set and location ever used in our productions. Its only taken seven years to define it… what comes first, the chicken or the egg?

Two weekends ago I was sent back in time to an era not of my choosing. I put in for an assignment in the tropics documenting dinosaurs and amazon women but I guess someone up there can’t take a joke…
So there I was; immersed in trench warfare against the central powers of Germany and Austria-Hungry. When I wasn’t getting shot at – I took some time to sketch.
In all seriousness, I was apart of a WW1 Re-Enactment on April 18th and 19th. Photos from the event can be found HERE. These fantastic photos were all taken by R.C. Hooker.
